Carolina Puente

PLACEMAKING MANAGER

Carolina Puente is an interdisciplinary creative professional who helps elevate communities by– converging business, information technology, museum administration, arts, cultural curation, and community development.

Her projects have ranged from managing an NEA-funded international arts writing institute to curating new media art at The Katzen Arts Center in D.C. and Oolite Arts in Maimi.

She has worked with diverse communities, from emerging artists in Berlin, Germany, and New York City, to individuals experiencing neurodiversity, homelessness, and trauma.

Carolina has a master’s in Arts Management from American University, a bachelor’s in Business Administration–Information Systems from the University of Florida, and a leadership certificate in Creative Placemaking, now affiliated with Purdue University.

She lives in West Palm Beach, serves as a court-appointed volunteer advocate for vulnerable children, and finds peace in battling the waves as a novice surfer.
